SRS and CEL41 after clutch install. Need help
Well, I finally finished my clutch on a 99 SI install with the help of my friend. When I pulled off the bottom portion of my header I forgot (i a f*cking moron ) to disconnect the O2 sensor connection. I don't think I yanked on it very hard at the time. when we finally got everything back together once again i forgot to connect the 02 sensor. So first time i start it up i throw a code. Before i check the code, i knew what i had done wrong. I connect the O2 sensor, reset the ecu. But the code is still on 41. And on top of this i notice the SRS light is on. I'm not positive when this light came on.
Any ideas on what i screwed up? Did i break my O2 sensor?
Please help me.
Jason

Code 41 is the O2 sensor preheater. So you might have pulled apart ane of the heater wires & just plugging it back in didn't fix it.
edit:... Before you replace the sensor, make sure you get 12v power at the heater leads. If not, then change a fuse or chase the wiring.
I don't know about the SRS light. Isn't there a way to read codes from that? (I've never done it.)

You may or may not be able to fix your 02 sensor. Replace it if nothing else. As for the SRS light, take it to the dealer for that, it should be covered under warranty. Nothing related to a clutch install would trigger it.
thanks for the help guys. My regular warrenty has expired. but i do have an extended warranty. I really don't have much money. Would they still read the SRS code under the extended warranty?

Good question for the dealer. But the warranty on the restraint system is a lot longer than the general warranty on the rest of the vehicle. Check your warranty book. My '98 Accord says the seatbelts & SRS warranty is for the 'life of the vehicle'...
