Default Fuel Pump and ECU

Will your ecu turn on if you have a bad fuel pump?

yes, but i suspect the problem you are having is the same problem a couple of us have had without finding problems to it. you did a swap, and when you turn the ignition, your fuel pump nor your ecu turn on, right? good luck with it. ifinally wired a 12v switch directly to a13 on my ecu and to the yellow wire on my fuel pump and now i turn them on manually.

I've already the problem with the ecu turning on before, it turned out that it was the two ecu ground wires went bad for no reason. So I just regrounded them. I know my fuel pump won't turn on if the ecu doesn't, but I was just checking if it was the same way visa versa. I know that my main relay is good, because I've already replaced that when I had the last problem. Anyway Thanks Again.
