There is a fist sized hole in my engine block, where can I get a ZC ASAP!
On the highway today I hear BOOOOMMM!!!! And I'm like WTF was that and I pull over to the shoulder. When I get out there is oil everywhere. I pop the hood and see oil all over my engine but it looks intact then I noticed a fist sized hole in my engine block. Goodbye D15B2 my old friend. It's ZC time now. Where can I get a ZC engine for cheap and with fast shipping, no broken sensors or anything either. Help me out!
i would have to say http://www.jspecjdm.net.. but it'll take 5 days.. you could, however, go to noyan.. don't know where they are located, but if you click the link in my signature and post a question, some of them know where it is.. and they've had good luck.
noyan is in manasas, you could pm civicdrgrcr he used to sell engines for them
dont know if he still does but he knows the exact address

I was at Noyan last saturday and they didnt have any although he said there was a shipment coming in sometime this week, you gotta call. http://www.noyanusa.com
I think I will go with hmotorsonline.com because I know people have had good exeriences plus they guarantee no broken sensors and stuff and Noyan has no such guarantee that I have seen.
Yeah im thinkin of goin with them too, whats the shipping charges to maryland?

They haven't gotten back to me on the total cost yet but I will let you know when they do. I bet I can get it for under $650 shipped.

Yeah I saw a rod visible at first. After the towing it had moved back in. I want to take apart the engine and autopsy it. Cuz now I can learn about it where before if I broke something I would be fucked, but now who cares.

If he's in a good mood he might give you a little of a discount, I wont say exactly what he did with me but he must've been in a good mood, I payed alot less than you did for my DOHC ZC.

How much will you sell your ZC for? I don't have much more than the cost of the new one to spend.

ttt, I want to know what causes that to happen? I'm not to knowledgeable on internals. I also have a a6 shortblock in my garage. Pick it up for free.
normally the rod bearings will break, heat up, seize, wear out. cristalize, crack, rev too high.... any of these above.... when they cant handle any more the bearin breakes, letting the rod be free and hits the block... then kaboom..... sometimes its not the bearing, but the rod at the middle of its lenght... and the consequenze its the same....
