I have an opportunity to buy a gsr block bored out .25 over to use CTR pistons, or to buy an ls bock and go ls vtec with ITR pistons. What would you choose?? I want to go with the CTR's but I am afraid that the compression will be too high for pump gas. Ive heard so many different opinions but I would like to hear from someone with the CTR setup or someone who knows someone who has the setup, please let me know.

 

you can run pump gas with CTR pistons... your compression isnt going to be that high. what head are you using? thats where most of your compression comes from.

 

I was planning on a b16 head, would you suggest that or a gsr head??
