Default Question about headers...

wassup guys, i just had a question about which header would be best for my car. I have a 92 cx hatch with stock b18b and was wondering which header would be best for my setup. I was thinkin about a jdm itr header but i'm not sure if it would fit the port holes. Also a dc 4-1 header maybe? So i was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions on which header would be best for performance and ideal for my set up.

Thanks, John

EDIT* the motor is a 94 b18b

People will argue with you about this however, a search for thegreatheadertest will reveal Dyno's from the same car with a lot of different headers.

get an LS header it saves you the hassle of having to lengthen the pipe.

im pretty sure all b series headers are interchangeable...meaning the exhaust ports are all the same. but the lengths are different from a 1.6 to a 1.8, but since you are talking about an LS you should be cool, so yes i believe an ITR header will fit....correct me if i am wrong anyone

I'd almost think that a JDM ITR header would be a great header for an LS engine. It would let it flow, ut not too much. About the give headertech a call thing, ha ha, yeah right. $700 what!? damn nice, though

extra $350 for easily 10 more horsepower on a built motor. I`d say it`s well worth it. That`s much cheaper than cams and tuning.

ive got to agree with ryan on this...
we spend a lot of money on other things just so we can get 3-4 hp, but if the header tech has been proven 10...why not add the $350.

I have the DC 4-1 (non JDM) on my LS teg (B18B) and it definitely helps with the topend. Unfortunately, the 4-1's hang lower than the 4-2-1 headers and mine is all banged up now. Assuming you're in NYC by your sn, you know how bad the roads here can be.
