crower cams
i'm thinking of going with crower stage 3 cams. does anyone know anyone that has them and what they think about them? im planning on putting these cams in my daily driven motor. i heard it has a ruff idle, but only when its cold. after it warms up, the idle aint too bad. btw, i'm just curious but can having a ruff idle hurt the engine in anyway? also could u shoot NOS with these cams?
i have a b20 with je 11:0:1 compression, shotpeen rods, skunk2 IM, JG throttle body, mugen ecu, dc 4-1 headers, and aem cai. i have skunk2 cams rite now, but there going to be replace with better ones real soon.

i think you will need a valvetrain upgrade for those cams. Or is that skunk2 stage 3? i dont know anyone with them, but from what i read, most stage 3 cams are 'race only' applications and having a rough idle is the drawback from the HP increase.
I am running Crower 402a, I never heard of a crower stage 3, skunk maybe. My cams have a stock idle lobe so they idle pretty much the same. I dont think it would be good to run NOS on a cam with a large overlap.
if u go to http://www.crower.com, i'll show you that there are crower stage 3 cams. if i get these cams i will get titanium valuesprings and retainters. and wat do u mean by rough idle is the drawback from the HP increase?

ok i have decided imma go with jg 308/316 cams instead of the crower stage 3. jg 308/316 cams specs are similar to crower stage3 and jg mention that there are daily driven motor with those cams in it. check out there website http://www.jgenginedynamics.com and go to dyno results. these cams make awesome power.
