Default Flowmaster b.s

I am in search of a new muffler and I came across this

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/we...PerfMuff7.html

Now look at the videos and sound clips, they say its a 1.8 vtec type R. Watch the video and tell me thats a type R. And who in there right mind would put a flowmaster on there type R. Anyways I just thought it was odd that flowmaster would lie like that. No offense to anyone that has a flowmaster muffler on there car.

LOL........I have the "non import" Flow Master Delta Flow muffler, and my Civic sounds just like that. Also, I hate the way it sounds. But I just haven't got around to getting a new muffler yet.

I have a flowmaster 40 on my type r swap. I got it since it was a 2.5" inlet and outlet. Sounds damn nice too. Not tinny or buzzy at all.

My big beef with Flowmaster is that they use chambered mufflers. Nothing beats a straight-through.

SlowCivicDX, how could you not like that sound? I have flowmaster 40's on my car and think it sounds great. Maybe a tad loud, but at least it is a nice sound.

I can see having beef with them about baffeled theory, but I figure they should have figured something efficent out by now. While I don't have first hand experience, the differnece between straight throughs and baffles isn't worth it power-wise considering the sound I . As long as I'm happy, right?
