Default so my alarm got F'd, what should i get now?

i had a viper alarm, which came with the car when i bought it. i thought it was some cheap one that only made sound when something happend to the car. Also locks and unlocks the car. Well i have to say it saved my car from being stolen, but instead got it F'd. Apparently they messed with the alarm, and it had some sort of kill switch which wouldnt let the car start no matter what. well now i have to look for a new alarm. any suggestions? i have about 300 give or take a hundred.

I say get a new one.....just because they missed the first time
does not mean that they wontr try again!!...If you really want to **** with their
heads....leave the old alarm in its old place ( prob under the dash..typical)
and place the new one elsewhere in the car. Hey they went after the alarm
did'nt they.

well is seems like they stole the alarm system. theres like nothing but wires it seems. also i want to get a new alarm right away because theres nothing thats keepin someone from taking my car. i know that the kill switch killed the started but they are theives and can work with anything. im still scared they will take my car. i know there isnt anything else for them to take inside, but they can still take my wheels and all that other stuff. thats why i want to get an alarm asap
