Stock spring rates are 240ish lb/in (front is linear rate, rear is progressive).
Now I forget the conversion from kg/mm to lb/in (I think it's roughly x56) then....you will have 672 ft/lb in front, 448 rear which is very high for street driving. These are coilovers right?
You probably will have problems with fillings in your teeth falling out, but will have awesome handling. If roads are not good in your area, I wouldn't recommend this setup for street driving.

Stock is:
F 4.4kg/mm R 2.5~4.4kg/mm
Most coilovers are going to run 10-12F and 6-8R. Just curious, what setup are you looking at?

ok and what are the SPRING RATES for 2002 integra ?
neone knows that already ?
i'm trying to guess wass th best setting for front rear of my prelude..
basing the info on ITR setup and adjusting cause the diff in weight..
i will need stiffer rear though..
so it's 4.4 lineair in front and 2.5 to 4.4 prog in the back ..ah
need to find the prelude stock spring rates ..eheh ;p

12/8 is the standard damping rate for Zeal coilovers; dunno about TEIN.

Just finished a good test drive of my latest suspension iteration on my R.
So far it's got the stock front bar, Mugen rear bar, Bilsteins (non-adj), GC-coil over kit w/ 315F & 500R.
I likey!!
I realize you're going to do this on a Prelude ... my car weighed 2800 w/me in it!

I'd personally would do 8F/10R if I did custom rates. I Emailed TEIN about getting a 10kg rear set of springs and keeping the fronts the same on my HA's
anything ober 10 is gonna be very harsh (560 lb/ft)

Yeah, much more than what I've already got now (315F/500R) would be unpleasant over rough roads.
Though softer suspensions (llike the stock R, w/progressive rear), are much more forgiving over rippled surfaces (esp. in the wet).

I didn't ask them how they would work cause I have messed with different rates enough to know close to what I want. THey just said no problem getting me a custom rate for the HA shocks. They were very quick to respond (12 hours later since japan is halfway around the world
)
THey basically said No Problem just let us know. I was just inquiring as to the availability of just 2 springs.

Just depends on what model of each brand you are talking about. TEIN NA's are progressive while HA's and RA's as well as the Others are Linear.
Most after market sprinsg are progressive except for high end performance oriented setup and Ground Controls.

Some of you guys are wussies!!
Zeal S6 18/16 just replaced the Tein N1 14/12....

a factory itr will oversteer in highspeed corner. when the back suspension is stiffer than the front, u will get even more oversteer.... it will be good for solo2 events. i have tein RA with F-12 R-8, it oversteers when i set the back stiffer.
