Default $24,900 for a "00 PY R with 10K ... good deal?

I may be purchasing another 2000 PY R that has 10,000 miles. The guy is asking $24,900. Is this a reasonable deal?

Thanks

no way. thats practically a brand new R and you're getting one with 10,000 miles. i don't know if you want to factor in that they aren't making ITR's anymore, maybe it will be worth it for you but for me, definately no.

i agree with yellow blur, thats too much for a 00 with 10k on it. I got mine brand new (2001) for that price from the dealership. He should be selling it for 22k, even that might be too much.

No, way. The sticker price is $24,970 for a brand new one. I bought my '98 used with 5,400 miles for $21,000. I feel I got a great deal for a bone stock, mint ITR. Ask the guy to come down on the price. He is probably hoping that some stupid kid who knows nothing about the car will be dumb enough to pay that.

well, after Boba paid $15K for 1997 R #15 with 5,000 miles, everyone is going to be wanting a great deal. But, when I was first thinking about buying an R, I looked on the internet. 2000 and 2001 models were going from anywhere from $25-$29K, and someone wanted $31K for a 1998. Still, that's too much. $24,900 is what I paid for mine when it was new. You should try to get him down at least another grand. One question though - why would you want another PY? They attract way too much attention, if I was to buy another one I would get a black one for stealth missions. Is one going to be a drag ***** or something?

Good points everyone. I would like to keep my current R just for Road Course use. And purchase another for street driving.

Everyone seems to be forgetting . . .

No more ITR's after '01. Watch the premiums start to go up!

Tegsport, I was just curious, did you have a two page picture of you autocrossing in Super Street [July 2001]? I believe it was in the little BFgoodrich mini mag inside. It had the little Tegsport Racing sticker...

Anyway, if it is, nice picture!

Me- "I know that guy! I know that guy! Well...not really, but I saw him on Honda Tech a couple times." -Entire shop goes quiet.

You could get a new one for that price, I would not get it unless you can get the price lowered!

jeez, my bro bought his black 00 like three months ago. It was $19,800 with 12k miles on it. Completely stock. There was another one for sale too, 00, 7k miles, but the seller was a jerk so we said F him. But I did drive it and it was definitely for sale. also $20k. This is in the Bay Area, one of the world capitals of Integras. You just need to look. Dont get ripped off. Its only a car.

I sold 00-00981 for $21,000:

More @ http://demians.net/itr
stock, 26K miles, factory bra, fogs, alarm + switches, RE 730's, blah blah blah.

It was sold by Hinshaws Acura in Tacoma, WA the next day for $23,500, plus TTL.

I paid 23500 for the car with 1200 miles from GregI on the board (havent seen him in a bit thoug), apparently there are no more new FBP ITR's to be had.
