a friend of mine wanted to istall my skunk2 coil overs on my dc2 integra and to my astonishment when i jacked the car up i saw that the adjustable sleeves were upside down and that the springs were sitting on the wrong end...... does this matter at all or is it just the same .... please help i might have to rip apart the whole suspension agian!!!!!!

 

I would switch them to the proper direction.

I dont know if it is or not a good idea to keep them upside down or not. But with parts like suspensions that take up the entire weight of your car and then some I would probably want things done right.

And the more you "tear apart" your suspension, the easier is gets.

 

in long run, yes it can cause serious problem.
