? about installing new pistons
ok i am looking at getting the toda pistons.
my ? is. i am pretty sure that i would have to bore and hone the stock sleeves for the new pistons. the stock bore is 81.25? correct? should i get the 81.50 or the 82mm? and what ever the pistons size is that what you bore the block out to?

why ctr if i plan on doing a full toda head package. 12.3:1 sounds just about right for the cams.
also would i be able to use the stock itr rods? caus i read somewhere that not a lot of aftermarket rods work with todas pistons

gimme your email and I'll email ,you some info re clearances and tolerances.. I just had to replace my pistons with toda 81.25mm.. I had the dilemma of choosing stock 81.00 or 81.25 but believe me, it will save you money in the long run... BORE AND HONE THE biatch!! Also if you have a type R we calculated the displacement to be around 1.81125 litres ( taking into consideration the original was 1.8 for simplicstic sake)

what's the point in carrying out your calculation to 5 decimal places when you rounded the initial displacement?

There is sufficient evidence to indicate that the rate of increase in output per unit increase of input decreases as the input increases.
