Default type r valves

im putting skunk2 stage 1 cams in soon. do i need to send the head out to a machine shop so i can fit type r valves, or can they just be installed???

well you need a press to compress the valve sprngs back on you dont need to put the valve on the gsr are just fine

i already have the valves, i just want to know if they could be put in without any modifications.

I believe the valve seat is a different angle. I don't know the specs but you need to get the valve seats redone or the new valves won't seat right.
