taking out my amp/subs--Do i need to?
ok i dont know too much about audio/subs...so i have a question for those who know.
i'm making my car into track car soon so i decided to give my amp and 2 10's to my girlfriend, but i left all my wires that is connected to my cd player, battery etc..
is that dangerous? should i unplug wires to battery?
i dont want to take wires out because i want to leave it in just in case i decide to put another one in future.
thanks

disconect the 12 V+ for the amp at the battery.
tape off the Remote turn on lead ( blue wire from back of deck), and the rca's ( or speaker leads) where the amp used to be mounted. that should be safe enough.
just in case, check with the track and see if you should take it all out, you dont wanna chump out and get dq-ed by failing a tech inspection, or something like that.

i doubt tech will DQ for that... but yes, atleast remove the fuse on the 12v line or tape it up really good with electrical tape. same with the remote like as was said above.
