There is a GC that is made with the Koni Yellows in mind. Might want to look into that if you havent bought anything yet.

450f/400r with koni yellows. i dub the car the "titty jiggler" b/c it is a bit bouncy and the ride is rough. this is with the konis set to full soft. also i run 205/40/16 wheels and will be changing to 195/60/14 soon.

i am going to get the shocks shorter and revalved one of these days.

The Koni/GC setup is a very good choice. Ride quality will all be in the spring choice. I run 450#Front/550#Rear but this is not a street car. For street I would run 300# front and 200#-250# rear. I believe stock is 250#F/150#R on a crx.

I just ordered Koni Yellows, with GC's with 400lb/in fronts and 500lb/in in the rear. I can't wait, it is going to be a night and day difference from my stock suspension.

alot of people run differnt setups, you need to find the setup that will work for you personally..(some people like front stiff, some rear, its all objective) 300f/200-250r will be good for the street
i have 400f/450r one my car and it definately is the 'titty jiggler'

i read a post a few weeks back where someone was running really high (700+)spring rates on an eg. he said the right was better with the higher rates and the revalved/shortened shocks. i am thinking that some of the ride harshness is do to operating the koni yellows on the very end of their operation range. i hope to get my shocks revalved and shortened next winter, so i should have an answer for you then.

A close friend of mine at redshiftmotorsports is running 400front and 450 rear ground control and koni yellows. By the way he is a national champion in STS. I've driven the car and the ride doesn't seem that harsh but I didn't go very far. He said on the highway if you hit a bump to hard you could possible catch a little air. I'm going with a similar set up as him though, beause it has proven results. By the way at the last autox meet I went to their was a guy their running 700front and 800rear and I don't know how he drove that car from Mass to Camden, his feelings must of feel out.

heavy spring rates 700lbs-1000lbs in the rear are dangerous on the streets...these rates are basically for drag only cars...koni's off the self max can hold 550-600...600 is pushing it though....anything more should probably be revalved ...

...im also looking to get the 450f/550r koni/GC combo ...my crx is mainly a track car though

I believe he does have the short revalved konis. As for the guy with the ridicilous spring rate I don't know how he withstands it. I know some people are hardcore but that it a little off the hill. But he must of did it for some reason. susepension travel etc...

if you all ready have your ground controls, then you should have all ready chosen a spring rate.

I go the Koni Reds and I had them at full stiff all around. On some dips on the freeway it would really hurt. I would get off my seats and when the car came back up I would get slammed into the seat. I softened the rear to half and it is much better and bearable. I am running on a set of OBX adjustables that I had for a while so I do not know and no matter how hard I tried could not find out what the spring rate is.
The fronts are still at full stiff, it is a bit bouncy, but good on handling

I don't know if I would go with really stiff spring rate specially for a daily driver.

That is a great combo GC and konis i have 425 in the r and 375 in the front , i have a 4 pt cutom cage so the car is pretty tight , It bascially goes where i want it . I have 195/50/15 on mugen RnR , 205's rubbed just a little on hard left turns where it went on a down part in the turn. But for any body its a great combo , Also you can cut the upper mount and use 1 3/4 tube and raise the travel of the shock further up .
