?s about injectors...
Did a search, but couldn't really find a complete set of info.
(1) What's the stock injector size for a Y8? 240cc, right?
(2) You need a clip to run OBD1 injectors with an OBD2 Y8 head, right? Does someone have a link to pictures of each connector so that I can identify them?
(3) Are different injectors interchangeable? Ie, can I use B-series injectors on a D-series head, for example? (assuming they're both of the same type .. saturated).
(4) Can injectors be TOO big? Ie, if I bought 500+cc injectors for my Y8 that I definitely don't need right now, but might need in the future with a turbo, will that hurt anything? I just ask because the difference between most 270cc and 350+cc injectors is all of five bucks.

1) yes 240cc for all 88-00 MPFI D/B-series injectors
2)yes different type of clips for OBDI and OBDII (OBDI = grey, while non-obd=milky white)
3)yes you can run OBDI and OBDII injectors interchangably longest you switch the plugs or connect them.
4) yes if you run a program/ecu which was designed for 240cc injector, anything a lot larger will flood the motor. this is also the reason why many opt for hondata when running their turbo setups. as the low/mid rpm mixture needs to be leaned out.
honda injectors:
h22a OBDI (need the resistor pack) = 350cc
h22A OBDII = 310cc
DSM Talon turbo 4g63 injectors (resistor pack required) = 440cc
