I put mine in a ditch one night when I first got it. I was being stupid and didn't expect the rear to come around as fast as it did when I lifted. Oh well, it's a slight bend in the front, hardly noticeable really. It adds character.

onyx00 - I saw pics of your wreck before...that sucks man
itrhybrid - sorry to hear about yours too
Mine was a total loss as deemed by my friendly neighborhood Statefarm Agent.
It was NOT however related to street or illegal drag racing!
I was probably going a tad too fast when I swerved to avoid hitting "but I glanced off of her anyway," A large Deer! I then careened into a highway barrier and did TWO 360 degree spins after the hits and came to a rest in the hammer lane facing the oncoming traffic, "which I was lucky as Hell that it was at around 2:30 in the morning, I was coming home from work."
At any rate I'm alive and NO! I DON'T condone street racing "But, it's fun as Hell," Don't ask me how I know...

PS Losing my first R was the Shittiest experience I've had so far with automobiles. I'm just glad to be safe and Alive!

Mine was a total loss as well. Was my first car actually (first one I paid for; I had a Camry before that that was my parents).
You can't see it in my pictures really, but the entire frame twisted like if you took a rectangular box and twisted it the long way. I was hit by a Dodge Ram 1500 (heh, Ram, how ironic). Guy ran a red light. It kind fo sucked. My entire interior was covered in blood from the person in my passengers seat (she was fine actually, just got cut on her wrist). They estimated about 16K to 18K to repair.

Mine isn't that bad, but it HAPPENED THIS WEEKEND.
It's like breaking your leg or something when your car gets hit. Some female was not really paying attention, and she backed into me while I was backing out. I was basically all the way out when she came out, so I consider it her fault. The problem is, when you are in a parking lot, it is private property (not under police jurisdiction), and that means no fault can be determined. So it looks like a 50/50, eventhough the majority of the damage was to my car. She craked my rear bumper, but no damage to the body.

Well it seems that the only picture I can find is this one. A friend did this up for me. I usde to put it under the hood while in the pits with the hood up. For those that doubted it was an R motor. Those too idiotic to look at the engine code anyway.
interstate minding my own business going 70
I think its so funny that all accident stories all begin with "I was minding my own buisness when...."
Maybe we should be minding everyone elses buisness!
I drove my off of the Santa Monica pier this weekend. It's got JDM Mugen HID freont end, ECU, header/exhaust, N1 coilover, MF10, Recaro seats and ARC intake. You are welcome to check it out and remove whatever you like from the car.
