how to change sensitivity on viper?
i have a viper 550 esp. i was wondering how can i change the sensitivity. im paranoid aboutmy car. for my alarm to turn off you have to bang it hard. but i want it where if you touch it itll chirp. thanks
Ask the person who installed it.
The brain is generally installed underneath the dash if it was just a generic install. Do you have an alarm LED? If you do, follow that wire... It should lead to the brain.

you need to find the shock sensor
the viper units are a clear plastic square about 2 inches square
it has a orange adjustment screw on one side
you will need a small flat head screwdriver to adjust it
usually it is mounted to the stearing column or to the alarm harness itself
if u are having trouble finding it try sticking your head under the dash and hitting your stearing wheel. the shock sensor will light up red when it sences the impact.
