I am interested in getting a SiR JDM climate control for my crx si. I wanted to know what i would need to do to make it work in my crx. Can anyone tell me where to get a full manual for a CRX SiR.

 

I have access to one now. I will hopefully be installing it soon, I wish I knew how. I decided that it can't be that hard so I will pass on the info if it works.

 

Id appreciate that info much. Also where did you get your climate control? What did it come with?

 

I have not actually seen it yet, a friend of mine got two of them in some package deal. He just promised me one so far. I just upgraded my hcp kit to the poly this last weekend so at the moment my a/c comp hits the frame rail. I will fix it soon, but the mount swap brought out a whole mess of other problems which take priority. In case I forget, just keep in touch with me through email.

 

by the way how do you enjoy your HCP mounts???

They are definitly tight!! Thing vibrates like hell. I am having some wiring trouble. Which model is your car. Mine is a DX and has been hard wired since I bought it. I am trying to break down the wiring now. Do you have any info on this. I have two plugs for the eacv sensor on the back of the intake. Neither seem to work very well. Any help would be appriciated. Oh I recommed the kit, but don't plan on using the front mount.

 

I have the jdm climate control. Everything plugs up. the only thing is the temperature control is electronic and crx and civics came with a cable actuated control. i have to reach under the dash to adjust heater. I think it would not work even if u have the jdm heater box.

 

also, if u have a ef civic the only thing that will work is the fan control, since they have cable actuated vents.
