I've seen a few in person and they look pretty beefy. Noticing a lot of them on ebay that are polished for less than $50. Besides appearance, are these any better than OEM? Are the ones on ebay actually Mugen or are they replicas?

 

ive never seen the ebay ones but i used to have one and ended up selling here on h-t for $225, i bought a benen traingular brace to replace it and pocketed 50$.

the mugen bar is sturdy as hell, there is no way you will be able to bend it, the welds are perfect and it is light. ive never held the si bar, but as far as 2 point bars go you cant go wrong the mugen

 

those ones on ebay are as fake as a 3 dollar bill. Go to Kingmotorsports.com look at that one then go look at ebay.

 

Note the bolt going through the mount this is fake.

Ahh, thanks guys. Wasn't sure because it had a Mugen emblem on it and I thought Ebay was pretty strict on it. Definatly don't want a replica. Thanks, I'll stick to my OEM one for now.

 

That bolt going through there is fake? Why the hell would they put a fake bolt on a strut tower bar when they copied a strut tower bar with no bolt?

 

I believe he meant that the bolt going through is a sign that it is fake because the real ones are solid. Not that it is a fake bolt.

 

actually didnt old school MUGEN tower bars have the 4-point mounts?...correct me if I am wrong.
