HELP: 3-Point Triangle Strut Bar
The one in question is #5272
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/suspension.html
Where does the Edelbrock mount onto on the struts?
Pic that might help figure out where it mounts..
Lastly, will it be more effective than an OEM ITR bar or even a Spoon bar?

That bar uses the stock shock tower brace bolts AND the upper control arm bolts. Looks like a real nice design to me.
patrickgsr94 is correct. also i would think it's better than OEM or spoon mostly because it secures to the firewall as well, and also doesn't look to have pivot points, much like the 3 point bars by benen and carbing

true, but the difference here is that it also bolts to the upper control arm bolts, which is what takes the most direct lateral cornering forces anyway.
I know where they mount on, and I am sure we are talking about the same points, but I have no idea what you guys've just said
so here is my visual stab at this

Are those the points you are talking about Patrick?

you got it right on the pass. side shock tower, but you're slightly off on the driver side. You circled a black plug on the driver side, the bolt where it attaches is just slightly to the left of the black plug.
I don't see how the top mount would help in reduction of lateral movement of the chassis.
It seems to be the 4 point neuspeed strut tower bar would still be a better option considering it also connects to the stock shock tower brace bolts and upper control arm bolts.

So, the point where the stock Type R and GSR strut bar attach to are the upper control arm bolts??
Yes
