Default HELP: 3-Point Triangle Strut Bar

The one in question is #5272

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/suspension.html

Where does the Edelbrock mount onto on the struts?

Pic that might help figure out where it mounts..

Lastly, will it be more effective than an OEM ITR bar or even a Spoon bar?

That bar uses the stock shock tower brace bolts AND the upper control arm bolts. Looks like a real nice design to me.

patrickgsr94 is correct. also i would think it's better than OEM or spoon mostly because it secures to the firewall as well, and also doesn't look to have pivot points, much like the 3 point bars by benen and carbing

true, but the difference here is that it also bolts to the upper control arm bolts, which is what takes the most direct lateral cornering forces anyway.

I know where they mount on, and I am sure we are talking about the same points, but I have no idea what you guys've just said so here is my visual stab at this

you got it right on the pass. side shock tower, but you're slightly off on the driver side. You circled a black plug on the driver side, the bolt where it attaches is just slightly to the left of the black plug.

I don't see how the top mount would help in reduction of lateral movement of the chassis.

It seems to be the 4 point neuspeed strut tower bar would still be a better option considering it also connects to the stock shock tower brace bolts and upper control arm bolts.

But it only connects to the stock shock tower brace bolts.

The Neuspeed 4-point bar does not attach to the stock shock tower brace bolts, only the upper control arm bolts. This JG bar is the only one I've seen that connects to both. It being triangulated to the firewall is just an added bonus.

Just use the Neuspeed AND another one for the stock location. It's been done.

Yes
Nope, the stock upper brace has it's own bolts that come up through the shock tower, and I believe they take either a 12m or 14mm socket. The upper control arm bolts/nuts are much larger and take a 17mm socket.
