????????wiring question???????
Im gonna be swaping a b20 into my rex right, but I need to know what I need to do to wire everything up for dohc and v-tec for everythign to work right
Thanks Mike
Thanks Mike
you doing a B20 or a Cr-Vtec?? A stock B20 isn't V-tec so you just do a regular swap if its a just swap injectors and the fan switch pretty much plug and play. If its a Cr-Vtec same as any B16A, B18C1/5 swap http://tjshondas.20m.com/b16awire.html
Okay I think CR-Vtec, correct me if Im wrong but thats when you use the b20 bottom end with a vtec head, such as in this case b16a1 or b18c1 (it all comes down to how much cash I have to spend)
Also I wanted to know if there is a way to hook up a hydro tranny into the ED chassis? If so how would I do it (myself, that who does the best work around here) and how much am I paying for parts.
Thanks Mike

b20 is the stock CR-V engine DOHC non-vtec reason for that q'... If you stay OBD0 get a PR3/PW0 ECU, add 4 wires and get a OBD0 B DOHC Vtec Diz and thats pretty much it.
I was planning to go 0bd1 and use a p72 ecu. Do you know how I would wire that up? Also I was thinking it would save me time if I use wires from another car, is that possible?
Going OBD1 I would suggest getting a jumper harness OBD0-OBD1. It will have all the wires you need to add for the motor from the ECU, alot less work then making one or even wiring into yours....Its a B!tch. Need a 4 wire o2 sensor, OBD1 DOHC V-tec diz, and ECU of course. I would still use you EF harness that will also save alot of work. Swap you orginal injectors or remove the injector resistor box. Run the wires for V-tec, knock sensor, oil pressure sensor, and how ever the O2 sensor wires go. That should be it for the wiring unless its a DPFI then you need to do a MPFI swap also
