Default homemade cold air intake? how to?

i've heard rumors of people converting a short ram into a cold air intake. anybody know how to? or better yet, anyone have detailed instructions with pics?

two methods i've heard of involve 1) running dryer hose up under the fender OR 2) removing the passenger side high beam.

any suggestions/instructions?

Search for "BSQ" -- He has a great DIY on his website.
