Default Need help deciding what coilovers to get?

I'm trying to decide between Zeal, Tein, Apex'i, and others. I have about $1000 give or take to spend. Any ideas?

Thanks, any advice is greatly appreciated!

what r u gonna be doin with the car..it all depends...if u r gonna see a lot of track time...spend some doe on a quality coilover set..if used 4 only street the koni/GC will do the job well...this combo is also good for track use especially if u get custom ERS springs rates..best bang for the buck

I have TEIN Ha for my DC2 and I love it. Its $$$ but I think its worth it. I have heard the HA's have been discontinued but the SS are essentially the same.
Peace

sorry to hijack, but do the HA's have the same problem as the SS' with rust and seizing (sp?)?

i have a 00 civic ex coupe. with ground controls, but instead of the stock springs rates i ordered custom 500lb springs rate. i know many people dont like the feel of stiff springs, but i only care about performance. i dont think teins or apexi or tanabe or any of those companys are worth it, with my set up kyb agx, if something goes wrong u can replace parts easily. i can take tursn hard, but the ride may not be for wussies

Well my car is mostly for street use...I do plan on taking it to the track as often as possible, especially after I turbo my car...

Currently I have a Ground Control/Tokico Illumini setup which I like...

Will the ride be more comfortable with a true coilover setup such as with Tein/Apex'i/Zeal, etc? How much of a handling improvement will I feel?
