Gauge faces - need calibration
I will be changing the gauge faces on my cluster. Does anyone know of a way I can check to see that the gauge needles are lined up correctly? I know on some Dodge cars, this can be done using a preset code between the key turning and holding down the odometer button and relasing them at the right time.
A similar process is at this link. This is for a 2000 Celica

Please, I hope someone knows how!!
Any ideas are appreciated.

As far as i have reseasrched, there is no way to re-calibrate the gauges. Meaning that if you take off the needles on the gauges, you'll have to note where they are at and reattache them. It may not be poerfect, but that's the only way to do it. I've even called a local speedo shop and they said that too.
as was said... juss remember how it looked on the gauge. ( your talking about the feul rite, since all others reset themselves). you can draw them out or something. also as was stated, you probably wouldn't need to remove the needles anyways... if your gonna put on overlays or even indiglos, they're all able to slip on without removing anything....
