lookin for tranny code on h22 tranny....dont have the bar code on tranny? tranny is stamped with p5-x? thanks...

 

Well if you are buying a new engine/tranny you want the tranny code to start with "M2B4" that means that it is a LSD tranny. Is that you are looking for?

 

P5-x or whatever tranny code you have.... those are the old 90-93 Accord transmissions and they won't bolt up to a H22 block. Only the 94+ Accord transmissions have the same bolt pattern to fit onto a H-series block.

 

and M2A4 is the standard non-LSD

 

ummm newman...the p5-x or px-5 is in my car bolted to my block and its from a 00 lude sh (h22)...so i did get the answer i was looking for and it is in fact the correct tranny, its h22 non-lsd 5 spd.

the JDM trannies for 92-96 are m2a4 for non lsd and m2b4 for lsd equipped.
not sure of the rest, but in general prelude trannies start with M and accord ones with H or P (h are eth 4th gen ones, and P are 5th gen) for example: 94-97 dx/lx accord is p2a5 for the tranny code.
