Ok guys... I am the best professional procrastinator. And I have waited till today (Monday, April 7, 2003) to decide on what I am going to do about lodging this weekend for the ITR Expo. I called Holiday Inn where it seems everyone is staying. Their price now is at $119 without any discounts. With AAA it would be $89/ night. The ITR Club of America price is no longer valid. That's too much cheez for me to drop. And they only have King Size Smoking rooms.

After checking out http://www.beaverun.com I now have a list of other hotel/motels to choose from. And some of these might be very very cheap compared to that of the Holiday Inn. I know the quality will drastically suck. But I don't care. My friend/passenger and I will most likely be consuming much alcohol Saturday night. I plan to bring my big cooler with wheels, and the contents will most likely be liquid. Might even bring along some Hypnotik.

I thought that camping would most likely be our choice of lodging. But now with this cold *** weather that just rolled through over the weekend, I am hesitant about freezing my *** off in a tent this weekend.

And as to when we will show up, ... that's another deal.

These are my ideas:

<U>When to arrive</U>
1.) Arrive in PA around 6 a.m. ~ 9 a.m. Saturday Morning
2.) Travel with Wisconsin/Illinois/Mich/Indiana crew that wants to arrive Friday in time to camp.
3.) Unknown???

<U>Where to stay</U>
1.) Camp We-Todd ~ Camping
2.) Some other Hotel/Motel that others will be staying at (for people with lower budgets)

Please advise, criticize, bitch, yell, offer, etc ideas as to what me and my passenger should do.

p.s. My passenger does not have a screen name for H-T. So noone really knows him. I am also trying to get some strippers to come, if Trey were to make an exception.

 

Speaking of procrastination, I haven't notified my boss that I am going on a trip yet.

HEY, me too! Just camp out. Alcohol plus sleeping bags =all the warmth you need.

 

enough alcohol and you wont even need a sleeping bag. You can turn your passenger into one. See ya on the playing field (camp we-todd)

If you really want to get a room, I'll go half with you for Friday/Saturday night & Saturday/Sunday night.

Otherwise, I'll be out there camping with the guys, or sleeping in the hotel lot and gristling my grill with the truckers at the pilot station.

If anyone else is thinking about this, please hit me up with your choices. So that way we would all be at one other place, and not just scattered about so we would still be watching each other's backs.

Nothing at all. I wasn't sure if we had reached maximum numbers there, but apparently we haven't. So we may be staying there as well.
