i was wondering if anyone has used the sleeves to take the bore from 75mm to 81mm? someone told me that there is problems with the head gasket sealing! oh and would i be able to use a set of b16 pistons i think there 81mm put im not sure of the position of thr piston pin .... any help thanxs

 

i *think* i have heard that you can take the d16 sleeves out to 82mm max. if this is correct i think 81mm would be fine. but i would think the head gasket would have problems sealing, unless u got it cut to fit.

 

uhh no way for 82 mm. or even 81mm. have you put together 4 81mm pistons together and measuered the length. its more than the length of the cylinder wall length. im sure it can be done in custom custom applications but in general. street/strip, stick with 78mm max for reliability.
