Default Type R Flywheels??

As we all know the search is messed up so I was wondering if anyone knew how much a type r flywheel weighed compared to a stock b16a flywheel....and if I was to put a type r flywheel in my b16 would there be a noticeable difference?

I don't know how much the B16 flywheel weighs but the ITR flywheel is 15lbs. If your flywheel is 18lbs like the other Integra flywheels it won't really make any difference. People overstate the differences in flywheels I think, mostly because they are speaking from what people were saying years ago and not personal experiences. I have an 8.75lb flywheel and honestly the difference was minimal, nothing real dramatic.

I guess it depends on the driver Josh...it's all subjective maybe.

I know I noticed a rather large difference when I went to the 9 lb. flywheel, especially when compared to my stock flywheel (18 lb, GSR).

I think the difference is only 2lb, not a whole lot. So, I highly doubt you can feel the difference. But if its a 18lb to a 8lb toda, then u will see ur rev go up way faster.

When I destroyed my clutch (B18C1 swap) I swapped my GSR flywheel for an ITR one at the same time...didn't make much difference to me. I couldn't tell.

If your looking for a FW then just get a light weight one from one of the known brands. Stock is good but lighter is better.
