Default Harness mounting in EG hatchback

I have a couple of questions about harness mounting:

1) What do people do to mount the lap belt portion with factory seats? I've heard of people mounting the harness to eye bolts in the stock seat belt mounting points. If this is true, what thread is needed, and where can the bolts be found?

2) There was a post a week or 2 ago with a link to a harness manufacturers web site that had installation instructions with diagrams. I searched but couldn't find the post. Anyone remember the post, and if so, can you provide a link?

TIA,
-G

Eye bolts to the factory mounting points is great. Otherwise, drill your own hole and use a washer (inside) and a backup plate (outside) and double nut. Be sure to mount at the proper angle. Nearly all seatbelt bolts are universal in size. Try racerwholesale.com or any similar racing shop for hardware.

Try the (missing?) FAQ sticky, or check out soloracer.com for some diagrams.

The outside mount can screw into the factory location. Since the inside stock mount is on the seat, this won't work. You'll need to drill a hole - usually through the exhaust tunnel, and back it up with a metal plate.

The "standard size" eyebolt screws into the factory location.
You can buy them individually anywhere that sells harnesses.

Or they will be included if you purchase the "snap-in" mounting hardware.

Cool. I was wondering if this is what most people have been doing. I have a mount on my seat bracket for my seat but the eyebolt interferes with the slider when installed.

Time to break out the drill.

Why won't the inside one on the seat work?
