d16z6 swap, how do i find out what cel it's throwing?
i swapped a d16z6 into my 90 dx using the z6 ecu. i built a conversion harness to adapt my wiring to the ecu. however, my check engine light is on and i don't know how to get the ecu to tell me what's wrong. i know in the 5gen you jumper 2 wires together to get the ecu to walk, but i have no clue where or what those wires are.

It depends how you wired the harness. On some of them you just have to ground a wire. On others you jump the ignition setting thing, which is under the hood for 88-89s and under the passenger side kick panel on 90-91.
