Default coilover choice

i was wondering which coilovers I should purchase for the best price. I was set on Ground Control for the longest time simply because of the reputation and b/c they use Eibach springs, but I was reading reviews about some applications having spring noise, like squeaking, after the breaking-in phase. Im either going w/ GC or skunk2's . Could anyone help me decide her persuade me to another brand? I just want the option to lower to a desired height unlike springs. I'll probably get some KYB AGX shocks all around. Probably shocks and coilovers, then come the rims. Common payday! :D

GC/Skunk has basically the same setup. Anyone one of those will be a good choice!
Good Luck!

the squeaking noise is just when you're barely moving, going over bumps. you don't hear it at driving speed. the best non-full coilover setup is GC and Koni Yellows in my opinion. the adjustability is very easy as long as you're not a lazy bum. i def. recommend the GCs. you're paying for quality. if you buy direct from GC you can also choose your spring rates.

If you want KYB AGX then get them, but if you have the money then get Koni's. Definately get the Ground Control though...I personally think they are the best coilovers I love them. Just my 2 cents though.

alright, i'll probably go w/ the GC's then, but I have to decide on which shocks. Koni yellows are a little more expensive than AGX's correct? i guess if they're worth it and i have the means.....

Thanks for the help

the tein ss coilovers are pretty affordable (retail $1,000)... if you wait though, the tein basic coilovers (only height adjustable, no damper adjustability) retails at about $750... depends on where you buy the coilovers...
