Bump up timing!?

Default Bump up timing!?

hey i gotta a 01 PY yellow R with I/h/E and a act clutch w/ a jun flywheel, i wanted to bump up my timing a lil bit, but im not really sure on how much i should do it to. I was jus wondering what you guys think a/b this and wut i should set it at for the best results

This is generally what people set it at, but keep in mind that every car is different. Stock spec is 16 +/- 2. Some people have actually gained power by turning it back down to 15 after they had it at 18.

All I noticed was slightly better throttle response, or so it seemed. I didn't notice any difference in power.
