Default Type R head

if you put a type r head on a gsr block would it make the car have more torque??

it would make more power than a gs-r would but still less power than the itr.

Well


Since you will lose some Compression then you are actually going to take a loss of TQ and HP.

But if you are going to use the ITR cams and what not I suppose you will make some more power.

If you do this swap you are going to have a 9:8.1 CR with a better flowing head so uhh I dont know.

Do it right and get some pistons while your at it.

I think you will definately gain some HP because the ITR head is factory ported plus you get ITR cams too but as for torque, I also think you will gain some from doing this. The only way to find out is dyno it.
