Default spring rates?

what are the spring rates of ground control coilovers? i know you can have them made however you want, but someone has a set i want to buy and i want to know if the spring rates he has are good or not. they are 700 lbs front-1000 rear

will your teg only be used for auto-x? those spring rates are pretty damn stiff. it would be too much on a daily driver. i suggest checking the article below. as you can see most aftermarket springs dont excede the 500 zone. my 2 cents.

no its a daily driver. someone has a set of agx's and ground control coilovers locally for sale with these rates for a good price but from what i hear these are way too stiff for a streetcar. any more opinions?

i agree, they are too high for a street driven vehicle. i doubt the agx's would last long or even be anywhere near effective at damping with those rates.

I'll tell you right now, those are going to me some aggressive rates....just think baout the rear bumping over EVERYTHING. You could drive on it as long as it doesn't see the normal rough roads too often.
