Tall people! what helmet in a stock 95 civic?
I'm 6'3" and when I race in my 95 civic hatchback, my helmet hits the headliner and forces me to sit in an unnatural driving position. Are there any helmets out there that allow for a tall person in a little car? What is everyone else doing about this? thanks.

I'm only 5'8" and today the same exact thing happened.
I don't know what to tell you, but I'm getting del Sol seats next week and I hear those sit lower than my stock EG seats. So hopefully that'll fix it.

hehe...the miata and mr2 guys have problems with that too, except that they have tops that they can open up. Did you think about removing the headliner?
I feel bad for the roadster guys who race with the top down regardless of the weather! My headliner has to stay in. i want to keep my car looking nice. It's my daily driver. Del Sol seats sound like a good idea, but they cost $$. Thanks.

I don't want to compromise everyday comfort. Can the factory seats be modified to sit lower to the floor? Low like the Del Sol seats?

I think the options have been covered. Change the seats, modify the stock seats, remove the headliner. You don't want to do any of them...
Buy a VW Beetle... shaq could fit in those dawg...
btw, I'm also 6'3", I feel your pain. I'm also a valet. I wish I had video of me trying to fit into some cars driven by 5' tall women. You guys would laugh your a$$'s off. The best is the Benz's and Lexus's that automatically move the seat all the way back when the engine is off, but then slide forward when you start the car again, while at the same time the steering wheel is both pivoting down and extending towards me. I can see the headlines now..."Valet crushed to death in Lexus..."
Sorry for that digression.
