Default starting problems

a friend of mine has a 92 cx with a 96 gsr swap. we were drivin around and about a mile from where we were goin the check engine light pops on. we we kept drivin till we got there. its throwin a code 41. we were going to my friends to check the compression so we check the compression and its all good so we plug the plugs back up and the wires and go to start the car again and t cranks and cranks but it wont start. wires are on correctly checked fuses, grounds. dont know what it can be. any one have any idea on how to help my boy out? and what is code 41 and what does it mean?

Sounds like a spark problem...start at the coil and work your way out to the plugs!

Code 41 is a problem with the o2 heater circuit. It's not likely to cause a starting problem. When you did the compression test, did you disable the ignition system? I've seen a few coils get fried.

No Start Diagnostics

Crank
Spark
Fuel

Failed coil or igniter are the most common. Main fuel relay should be suspect too if the weather is really hot.
