Default Spark Plugs - what to use?

I'm about to replace the stock platinum plugs, and it's been suggested that NGK BCPR7ES-11s will work.

Has anyone has any good experiences with any other type of plug for the ITR?

NGK BKR7E-N-11
Honda part # 98079-5714J

or

Bosch F6DP/4227

Yes, Bosch works good. Both these plugs are really cheap when compared to the stock platinum plugs. What kind of mileage do you have on your engine? Stock platinum plugs go forever. Seriously.

I would recommend sticking with the stock plugs if you have stock ignition and no FI. They are a bit pricey, but that's what was designed to be used, IMO. Not that the other plugs will not work, just no reason to change to something you are not sure about.

**Stay away from the Iridium plugs, a friend had the tip break off of one and cause some minor damage.

Almost everyone I have talked to about plugs say to stay with the factory plugs. Unless you are running a built motor or FI and need colder or hotter plugs.

I run the Iridium plugs one temperature range colder for track use. So far so good.......but I'm not sure if they're worth the expense..

Sorry for the OT comment, couldn't resist. As far as spark plugs go, the NGK Iriways are great, even with just basic I/H/E mods.

My kids love that. I think it's supposed to be plum flavored. I can't ever pop that marble in there without it gushing out the top.

I prefer CC Lemon & Asahi Wonda ice coffee (puts that Starbucks Crappucino to shame).

How much does everyone pay for all these platinum and iridium plugs? Why spend the extra cash? just get copper NGK's and replace them more often; they perform better anyway.

I have the blue NGK Power Cables; no power increase, but with the Iriways, throttle response is excellent, better than stock.

imake more power with my platinums over copper.

i would guess that it has to do with the electrode design.
