Walbro 255hp intank with everything else w/ fuel system stock??
The only reason I can think of that is causing my fuel pump to, out of the blue, start getting really loud sounding and sometimes sounding as if it is going off then on is that my stock fuel system can't handle the pump???? Regardless of how much gas I got in there, it will make loud humming noise out of the blue and sometimes act like its turning off and on. i know it was installed ok, its cakework. I got a aeromotive fpr and some new injectors on the way but I don't wanna mask a problem if it is being caused by somethin else, espically now that the car is turboed. Anyone have experience or know if I shouldn't use this pump with stock fuel system or know any other possible causes?!?!?!
I used my walbro when NA too.
My fuel rail is still stock.
The pump is loud, but should be consistant.
A fuel pressure gauge would help you diagnose problems.

walbro are loud pumps but should not have any cutting in and out to it... should be a constant kind of whine noise in the back.
a while back on my lude I thought I had a fuel problem with the pump cutting out and it was actually the main relay
