Need Help ASAP: Installed new ITR tranny but car won't start!!!!
Ok I just installed a JDM ITR tranny on my 94 ls. Every thing went in good and had no extra bolts lying around. I tryed to start my car but it wouldn't start. It just made a long constant humming noise when you had the key turned to start. The only thing I think it might be is the starter b/c a friend of mine toke it off the wrong way and toke the start out of the casing but I then put it in the next. day. I don;t want to go buy a new starter if thats not the problem how do i know. Also what other things could cause my car not to start.

It could be your alternator. Did you make sure that all the wires that are connected to everything completely connected??? It also could be your infared sensor in your engine bay. When it is malfunctioning sometimes it creates the symptoms that you have.
whats the infared sensor. I broke a sensor while takign out the stock tranny it connects under the intake near the TB/starter. One of my friends integra has dissconted for some reason and his car runs fine. I looked and checked all the wires and they were all connected.
Double check that you have the starter wires hooked up. Theres the fat cable that goes to the battery and theres a one wire that clips in also.
Also make sure your battery is charged.
Also make sure your battery is charged.
Did you ever get it working?
I'm very jealous! Let us know how you like it once you get it rolling.
Where did you buy it from?
