zc help

Default zc help

help just swaped zc into 91 hf motor came with all wiring used that did not start changed th stock harness still nothing it cranks over but wont fire i changed everything cap,rotor,plugs,wires,etc please help

also it backfires when i turn the key off if that helps

try new dizzy, check grounds, try different ecu..

i had a d16z6 in it with a zdyne b16a 1 wire conv. i just blew the motor and got a zc
i've checked everything but i also had two wires that could not be connected by the resistor box thats why i changed to the hf harness

I'm getting lost in this confusion. Did you swap the HF harness on to the ZC? You have to modify the the harness for the exhaust cam sensors (blue/yellow and blue/green wire).

With this swap it is best to use the HF harness. The EGR plug will not be used if I remember correctly. As for the cam sensor go here: http://www.geocities.com/civiczc/zcwire.html I'm a little confused...why not just use a PM7?

make sure the firing order is in the correct order and that the dist is on the right way, with not too much retarded or advanced timing.

i first tried the zc harness that came with my motor i tried to start it and got a code 15 ing output so i switched to the hf harness and spliced in the cam angle sensor it still won't start but i don't get any codes with the hf harness, and i'm really confused about what the real firing order is.

i'm really confused about what the real firing order is.
Firing order is 1-3-4-2... with #1 being closest to the driver's side.
