need good DIY coilover install site
Hey all. Anyone know a good site that has a detailed DIY coilover install instructions for a 5th gen coupe. I was gonna spend today doing it, but i need to know how and what parts i'll need. thanks
Its simple man, pick up a haynes manual or something. I did my first DIY on my own gsr and had 0 problems. Its pretty much self explanatory what you have to do and what to remove, but you will need the torque specs. What you will need..
Tools: Jack stands, floor jack, 12mm socket and 14mm socket (might need 1 smaller one to get the brake line off of the shock), spring compressor
Parts: 4 shocks, 4 coilovers, 4 bumpstops (if your shocks didn't come with them then reuse your stock ones, cut the front ones in half), some type of dust cover for your shock.
It would also be good to have some Liquid Wrench or WD40. Some bolts are going to be stubborn to get off. Spray them ahead of time and let it sit, respray if you need to. Have any questions PM me
