which way to adv. ret. cam gears?
I just got done installing some Spoon 1st gen. cam gears. They do not have the "+" or "-" signs that most cam gears have. Could someone tell me for SURE which way is "+" and which way is "-" is negative. Thanks!
that is the best bet
using a dyno when tuning plus
your fuel presure regulator
and even sometimes when they are tunned
they might end up stealing HP
+ is facing the firewall
- is facing toward the bumper

On the gen2 Spoon and Toda cam gears, it's:
advance - turn towards firewall
retard - turn towards front bumper
This is b/c the timing marks are on the bottoms of the cam gears and we always tend to view things from the timing mark's perspective.
It's all the same thing if you think about it as CW to retard and CCW to advance.
