Civic N1-R OEM crankshaft pulley
i am wanting to know if anyone has one or know of anyone that has one iam recieving mine in two-three days. For all of you who dont know what iam talking about its a crankshaft pulley made by Honda of Japan that they use on the N1 race cars its a single belt crankshaft pulley that only uses your alternator belt if anyone has any feed back on this particular part i would reall appreciate it!!
do you know if it is a dampened pulley? i'm thinking it might not be. i dont particularly like crank pullies that are not dampened to be used on street driven automobiles due to the stress they place on main bearings causing them to wear out quickly.
it is not dampened. i would be weary of using it because it will mess up the harmonics. some people have used it and said that it works great. i am not doubting whether it works or not, but about the damage it might cause to your motor.
i've heard they ARE dampened, but am not sure 100%
they are the same size as a stock B crank pulley, so there is really no performance gains other than it being lighter.

well if someone finds out let me know...i will get one if it is dampened. the thing is is that it is a n1 race pulley, that right there should tip you on to the fact that it is going on a motor that is going to see race only action.
