okay, this might sound complicated so bare with me. i had a '97 prelude, its totaled
now. it had spoon wheels on it. now i'm going to get an eg hatch and put a prelude
motor into it. i don't want to let go of the spoon wheels because they took forever
to actually get shipped to me. i had to wait a loooong time for them. so i figure i
will get a type-r five lug conversion. then i can still use the spoon wheels. however, my question is: will the type-r hubs work with the dss axles i will be using
when the prelude motor is swapped in? if type-r five lug would not work, could i
use the prelude five-lug from my totaled prelude?(they're not damaged) please
share your knowledge with me, this will help decide whether or not i buy the
car back from the insurance company. thanks in advance.
p.s. i know there are much more important things involved in this swap but this
has been bothering me.

Well..the way I was thinking about it.

DSS axles work with stock Civic hubs.

When people do ITR 5 lug conversions, they use the stock axles.

Which means the splines on the 5 lugs must be the same as the ones on the Civic, and therefore you should be able to use the ITR 5 lugs with the DSS axles made for Civic splines.
