I just got an 88 hb with D15 and a 5 speed. The problem is when it isnt running you can put it into all 5 gears and everything is fine. If starts up fine and all. But when running and you release the clutch with it in gear it wont move. Would that be a clutch plate, pressure plate, flywheel, or axles?
thanks

a "ghetto" way to test to see if u need a new clutch is to put it in gear push the clutch in then let off the clutch, if it stalls then ur clutch is okay, if it keeps going then the clutch is no good
more than likely the clutch is bad all u have ot do it check the cable first make sure its tight....then put it in gear with the ebrake all the way up put it in gear then try and start it with the clutch not depressed if the car moves its the clutch...btw the car will start its an 88 no safety switch
