Default b16 just blew up

Well, after an entire year as my daily driver, my '90 B16 crx just died on me. As I was pulling in the driveway I start hearing some awful racket coming from under the hood. Pop it open and I smell anti-freeze and the racket gets louder. Got out a flashlight, there is what looks to be antifreeze mixed with oil coming from the bottom of the timing belt cover. Do water pumps usually make loud clattering noises when they go or did something else just blow up on me?? I never changed the water pump when I did the swap, the part I got (del sol vtec?) wouldn't have fit without modification so I just took it back. Does anyone know who sells JDM water pumps for B16A1's or am I going to have to use the Del Sol VTEC one and modify some stuff?

I could've sworn i used a 94 Del Sol DOHC VTEC water pump and timing belt.

It would be helpful if you posted pics where the leak is coming from. Could be a headgasket.

DOHC Del Sol water pumps do fit on the JDM B16a. No modifications needed. Pull the timing covers and inspect the water pump with a flashlight. Find the leak.

Yeah if its coming from the bootom of the cover then you'll have to pull it off, there are a few places that could be leaking, cam seals, crank seal, water pump etc. And if it looks like oil/collant that = head gasket. Hope it all turns out ok.
