Join teh EF darkside????
hey guys! I currently own an EG sedan with a decent amount of mods, but no swap yet. I am thinkin of throwin it up for sale, and if I can get more then i probably should, I was thinkin of buyin an EF hatch and doin a swap right away.
I wanted to ask a favour if i could. Can you guys throw up some neeD to knoW things about EFs for me? I cant go into this blind and I know lots about EGs but nuthin about EFs (example trim levels, aftermarket support, etc)
post some pics to if youd like, right now i am goin through the sticky gallery to get a feel for how i can make it look.
thanx dudes, maybe I will be posting here regularly soon

I like the subtle JDM style, by aftermarket I meant classy parts as I am pretty sure most everything made by companies for EGs, etc also makes things for EFs
thanx again
thanx again
parts should be cheaper for ef's than eg's, and ef's are cooler because you can get a nice looking jdm front for them. i love my wife's 90 EF. definitely a step down from her 2000 ex coupe, but still a sweet car. it's a lot nicer now that it's MPFI, and it'll be even nicer after I get done with the b17a swap.
ef's =

anyone one have pics of the jdm front end? Its funny the last couple years I have been oblivious to the good ol 88-91 bad boys

what trim level is best to start with for a Bseries swap? I dont need air, cruise, or power steering...
on the CRX model the Si and the HF ones
its an overall more sporty model than the rest, it has si seats (which lots of ef owners w/o si seats look to get these rare seats that are disigned by recaro), also some have the rear speaker holder, and the knuckle/hubs on the si are compatible w/ a b16a swap (std/dx hatches need si or da knuckle/hub for swap). Thats all i really can't think of anything else
The B-series swap works easily on any EF civic or CRX except the CRX HF needs hubs from a standard civic. Non-SI models will require more extensive wiring changes
The EF civic was the first double wishbone civics and shares most of the goodness of later civics at a fraction of the cost. if you like the boxier shape.
you can get equal or better performance with the lighter ,older EF than any other civic.

i use to have a eg sedan with a couple mods, and it was a fun all around car, just not as fun as i wanted. then i got my ZC crx and fell in LOVE with ef's. they are so driver oriented, and so much fun. i love the looks, the things you can do, how they are cheaper(usually) than EG's, and they are just dope all around cars.
get an ef!
get an ef!
I dont have jdm sir side moldings, but the 88-89 side moldings are pretty much the same thing which i plan on getting and as for the side skirts i wish those are one of those things that are hard to get for this car, i cant seem to locate them.
