removing axles! passernger side wont come out
i am currently putting on 2 new axles.. i got the driver side out, it was easy just put a fat thinck flat head at the end of the axles ( by the motor ) and popped it out.. but i cant seem to get the one by the passenger side out! . . and idea's why it's not coming out .. i took a crowbar to it and still dont pop out .. i dont wanna f' anything up .. any/all suggestion are greatly apprecatited thanx
there isnt anything holding it .. i am assuming that the lil clip at the end of it is stuck inside the tranny .. unless there is some clip that dont konw about that's holdig it in ??
Its tougher than the drivers side, but it will pop out.
Hate to say it, but just keep trying (assuming you have everything disassembled to allow it too).

I have had this happen from time to time. Here is what I have had to do. You take the one axle out that you can get out. You should now be able to see through the differential to see the end of the other axle. You will need some long nose needle nosed pliers and you have to try to compress the clip on the end of the axle while someone is prying it with the pry bar. It takes a few tries ... but it is probably the only way you will get it out of there.

okay thank you did not think of that .. .
-- dayum so the pass side is harder then the driver.. blah! thanx for the help and head's up on that everything is out .
I pulled mine apart yesterday and the pass side was kinda tough too.
I used a prybar and 5lb hammer. After a couple of hard whacks, it still didn't come out. I then turned the axle 180 degrees and whacked the prybar a few more times and it popped loose. Try that if you want!
