Its a 92 cx with a JDM d15b from HMO. The old distributor's bearing went out so I bought one with less than 5000 miles on it off a friends d16z6. Didn't run it hard yet. Tried to install my aftermarket tach by connecting it to that little blue wire behind the driverside strut tower. Everything seems normal until about 4000rpm, then the tach starts jumping everywhere and the car sputters. I can feel the vtec kick in, but it feels like it is misfiring. HELP Please. I just want this dang car to run well for a change.
